Allocation project provides a platform where the distribution of Kerosene oil is done in the twenty three districts of West Bengal. The three big oil companies IOCL,BPCL,HPCL provides oil for Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Agents present in West Bengal.

Project Requirement

Allocation web application system provides oil to all the agents of West Bengal.Agents distribute the oil to the Dealers of the respective district. Dealers provide the customer with the Kerosene oil.

Applicationsfeatures

  • Agent uploads Closing Balance(C.B.) which shows the present amount of oil they possess
  • S.C.F.S. approves the C.B. .
  • D.C.F.S. approves the C.B
  • D.D.C.G. approves the C.B
  • Final approval is done by D.C.G.
  • In case of Kolkata,C.B. approval is done by the Inspector first. After that the approval is done by A.D.C.G,D.D.C.G and D.C.G sequentially.
  • D.C.G. can create user and also modify C.B. amount
  • D.C.G. can view the agent list and after his approval,allocation of various districts gets released .

Allocation web application system keeps track of distributing oil to all the agents of West Bengal. Agents distribute the oil to the dealers of the respective district. Dealers provide kerosene oil to the customer. The application is completely digitized now, meaning the approval process is done through digitally. Agents are able to save their time as they don’t have to move from one place to another to get their C.B. approval. As the process has become transparent, there is less chance of oil stealing and there is accuracy in the amount of oil.
